Ramble on...
Published on December 2, 2010 By navigatsio In Sneak Previews

Not much novelty or "theme" to this one, the emphasis was placed on everyday use but hopefully there are enough subtle details built in to keep it interesting. Still have a few changes/tweaks in mind but I've used it exclusively for a week now with no problems. The screenshots kind of suck but it should be enough for a decent sneak preview.

That's a great shade of yellow.

Looks good! I like the third shot best...the muted colors are really nice.

hmm.. couple of things...

1. looks nice and useable, however I'd suggest something more original than the up\ down arrows for tray, caption glyphs, loggoff dialogs, shutdown button, all progs etc. I've watched your past work, your more original than that

2. post bigger screenies

3. I already did.. Avanti...just saying

@willistuder - Yikes, hope it's brown or it's back to the drawing board..and it's good to be back skinning!

@Xiandi - Thanks Cyndie! It appears different dependent on light or dark background because 95% transparency was used in the menu, taskbar, window frames, etc. It should appear a light slate blue throughout...or grey, according to one's monitor, video card, etc.

@VStyler - Already went in another direction, John, but still with arrows,

Using photobucket and damned if it'll let me upload an original size image. Don't know if there's a size limit or what...it's been awhile.

Don't know Avanti...mine came from a babelfish search of non-english words meaning "forward" (hence the arrows) and I liked the name.

I use Imageshack for all my screenshots and such, and Photobucket for small stuff, like emotes.
